Meet the 2016 Angler of the Year

Jan Jamrog won the 2016 Angler of the Year contest with a total of 21 points. The contest was heavily contested and in doubt until the final tournament of the season. Jan fishes out of Buzzards Point Marina on his 25 ft. Steiger Craft “Bay View”.

Jan was presented the winner’s plaque by Heidi Wilkins of Jett’s Hardware who sponsored the 2016 contest.

This was the 3rd Angler of the Year award for Jan, having previously won the contest in 2012 and 2014.

As we approach the start of a new season, be sure to complete a membership application/renewal and liability form and mail it along with your dues to the club’s mailing address in order to be eligible for tournaments.
