The Northern Neck Anglers Club  is dedicated to educating anglers about saltwater fishing techniques throughout the Northern Neck and Middle Peninsula areas of the Chesapeake Bay. Regular meeting and correspondence allows members to share information regarding the latest tackle, marine hardware/software, bait selection, techniques and fishing hot spots.

Member meetings are held during the fishing season. Guest speakers provide timely expertise. During 2020, the club is hosting eight member tournaments (nine different species).

An “Angler of The Year” contest is conducted each year with points awarded based on tournament results. Other events such as a club picnic, charter outings and seminars may be hosted by the club throughout the year.

Angler of the Year (AOY) points are awarded to the adult members as follows: 5 points for first, 4 points for second, 3 points for third, 2 for fourth and 1 point for all other entries. Youth members are not eligible for the AOY award. Gift Certificates are awarded to the top 4 placings.
